On Wednesday, March 17th, 2021, the Faculty of Theology at the University of Split will hold its 26th international theological symposium titled "Care for Yourself! The Modernity of an Ancient Imperative". The symposium aims to explore the contemporary relevance of the ancient idea of caring for oneself within a liberal capitalist society. It will examine how this concept manifests and is addressed, how the West responds to it, and how it compares to the Christian understanding of humanity. 18 speakers will participate, including 3 from abroad, 6 from other Croatian universities, and 9 from the Faculty itself. Strict COVID-19 measures will be enforced, with limited in-person attendance. The symposium can be followed live on the Faculty's YouTube channel, where a recording will also be available.
