From June 20th to 21st, 2024, the University of Graz will host the symposium "Searching for Words," which aims to enhance the status of ancient languages, such as Latin and Greek, in educational curricula by exploring the significance of preserving and studying written cultural heritage. Associate Professor Dr. Josip Dukić will present a lecture titled "The Center for Epigraphic, Paleographic, and Historical-Theological Research ‘Don Frane Bulić’ in Split and the Publication of Historical Sources. "

The symposium coincides with the recent publication of a text edition from Syriac sources by Erich Renhart in the Patrologia Orientalis series.
